Introducing Wren & Sparrow Assisted Living.
Rooted in faith, surrounded by nature, and caring for every resident as if they were our own parent.
What if it were our parents?
We believe the people who live here could be our own mom and dad, and we care for them that way: with dignity, warmth, and the everyday attention we would want for the people we love most.
The meaning of our name
The cactus wren is Arizona's state bird. It builds a protected nest in challenging places and makes a home where it is. The sparrow, drawn from Scripture, reminds us that no life is too small to be noticed. Together, the names speak of a house that is both rooted in this land and attentive to every person who lives in it.
Our signature care
-
Eight private suites
Every resident has a private suite with a full bathroom of their own. Just eight neighbors, never a crowd.
-
Led by a registered nurse
Our RN founder writes each nursing care plan and coordinates with doctors, pharmacy, and hospice.
-
One caregiver for every four
Two caregivers by day and an awake caregiver all night, so help is always close.
-
Christ-centered culture
Devotions, prayer, and partnerships with local churches, offered to every resident and never required.
One monthly rate. No surprise add-ons.
Many communities advertise a low base rate, then bill separately for care levels and everyday services. Our rate includes your suite, meals, personal care, medication management, and RN care management. We'll gladly walk you through a side-by-side comparison.
Meet our founder: Renae Sisk, MSN, RN
As a nurse and former nursing instructor, I've seen many assisted living homes, and very few that I'd trust with the people I love. Keeping the person at the heart of their care matters to me. Needing help with daily life doesn't mean giving up your choices, your joy, your faith, fresh air, or a good laugh, and it should never mean settling for care that isn't both loving and competent.
I founded Wren & Sparrow to change that. My hope is that one day families in our community will say, “That's a Wren & Sparrow home. That's where we want Mom and Dad to be.”
Meet Jethro, our four-legged welcome committee
Jethro came to us as a foster from a shelter in Pinal County. One day was all it took to know he was family. He loves cuddles, food, a good game of fetch, and simply being near his people.
Jethro comes for visits with residents who'd enjoy his company.
Room to breathe beneath the Superstitions
Gold Canyon is a special place to call home: clean desert air, wide-open sky, and the Superstition Mountains glowing at sunset. Fresh air and sunshine are part of good care, so every day includes time outdoors.
Mountain views from sunrise coffee to the evening glow. A large, shaded patio for visiting with family, sharing a meal outside, or simply resting. And a sparkling, safely fenced pool for warm afternoons and visits with the grandkids.
